My HP Deskjet 2700 printer originally came with HP 305 cartridges, which are for Europe and Middle East. I am in India and these cartridges are unavailable here. I have replaced them with HP 805 cartridges, which show compatible with my printer on the HP website, but are not being recognized by the printer. I understand this is due to HP’s regional cartridge restrictions.
I would like to request a regionalization reset for my printer so that it can accept HP 805 cartridges going forward.
I have had endless calls and chats with HP support and have even visited the service center, but none of them have been able to understand the problem.

@mizan7, Welcome to HP Support Community!
We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
