Hello,

Changing Printer Region for HP Deskjet 1000 Printer - J110a

When you move to a different region, your HP printer may not accept the ink cartridges available in that region due to regional restrictions. To change the region of your printer to use the cartridges available in your new location, you need to perform a region reset. This process usually requires assistance from HP support. Here’s how you can proceed:

  1. Contact HP Support:

    • Visit HP Support and select your region for the correct contact details.
    • Provide your printer model number and explain your situation to the support representative.
  2. Information Required:

    • You might be asked to provide proof of purchase or the printer’s serial number.
    • Details about your new location and the type of cartridges you need to use (e.g., No.60).
  3. Follow Instructions:

    • The support team will guide you through the process of resetting the printer’s region or provide a code and instructions to change the region settings.

Please note that this process should typically be carried out by HP professionals to ensure proper handling and to maintain the warranty of your printer.
