Is there a way that I can use remanufactured ink cartridges on my Officejet Pro 9010e?

Cartridges used in this printer must include the embedded HP Chip.

Refilled or Re manufactured, the chip must be there.

Not all ink suppliers use the chip - check with your seller.

I found some cartridges that include the HP chip.  However, the manufacturer says they will not work in printers that are registered for HP services.  I'm not sure what this means.

Could mean anything --

There is no way for us to know.

Ask the seller, I think.

Ideas

The comment is perhaps a reference to a printer that is subscribed to HP Instant Ink.

True - you cannot throw refilled or re manufactured into a printer on an ink plan.

There is no point and it would breach the ink contract.

Another possibility --

Printers that have been signed up with HP+ service cannot use any cartridges except HP genuine cartridge -- not refilled and not re manufactured.

Finally,

HP All-In Plan does not allow third party ink to touch the printer.
