Hi,

This might be an easy one.  For the first time i bought a remanufactured ink cartridge that is suitable for my printer, however the end result was blank pages. I had to go to another shop to buy an HP one and printing resumed. Am I correct to conclude that my HP printer Envy 5030 all-in-one cannot work with remanufactured/refilled cartridges no matter what i do to its settings?

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd like to help!

 

You may refill your cartridges or use remanufactured cartridges, but you may run into problems. HP will not guarantee the functionality of those ink cartridges.

 

There are many cartridges in the market which is refilled and sometimes the chip is not configured to work with the printer. You need to contact the cartridge manufacturer and find out why it is not working. Try a different cartridge supplier and check if that works.
