I have an HP colour Laserjet CMI1312nfiMFP and i keep getting this message with my new cartridge. I have replaced the cartridge, same issue. Have rebooted the printer, have put the black cartridge in the wrong slot, nothing fixes it.

I called the HP support line Aust 13 10 47 and they solved the problem! Many things were tried and unsuccessful but holding down the up button (above OK button) and the cancel button whilst the printer is off, then continue holding down these buttons and turning the printer back on. Then keep holding them down for it seemed a minute or two and lo and behold all fixed. HP need to post this reboot solution. The camera link they used was fantastic as was the operator, Elise. Well done HP
