Replaced envy 7155 with another envy 7155. Ink Issues.

My envy 7155 quit so I bought a used  but newer one. I want to put the ink from the junk printer in the replacement but the junk printer is on instant ink. Is there a way to bypass the system so that ink isn't wasted?

Welcome to the HP Community.

No, there is no way to use Instant Ink cartridge in another printer.

It is not entirely wasted:  Instant Ink cartridges always remain the property of HP.

You can (in fact, should) return unused Instant Ink cartridges to HP for proper disposal.

What about the new printer?

If you intend that the newer printer be used with your Instant Ink subscription, the contract must be moved to the newer printer.

If the new printer is not going to be used with the Subscription,

If you have not done so, the subscription must be cancelled.
