HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After repeat error messages of missing or damaged black cartridge when replacing start up cartridges with instant ink delivery, and trying separately purchased black cartridge per HP Smart site recommendation, I had trouble shooting virtual session that resulted in HP shipping me a replacement 90115e printer.

I followed instructions to remove the old print head and insert it into the new printer, with the prior instant ink cartridges. The error message was now "Cartridge can only be used in printer that initially installed it." I did not receive any set up cartridges with the replacement.
I replaced the black cartridge (which had generated the missing or damaged error message on the old printer) with my store-bought cartridge. I got the missing or damaged message again. Removed and reinserted cartridges instant ink cartridges. Got the "printer that initially installed it message" again.

I can't contact a support person anymore, I get a message that the printer is no longer eligible for HP support. I assume because it is a replacement?

Is HP intentionally trying to drive me insane??!!

Is the problem that 1. The printer is not recognizing the cartridges. 2. Non Instant Ink cartridges will never work/never be recognized anyway, so if an Instant Ink cartridge doesn't work, I'm stuck. 3. The old printhead (which was not replaced) has a malfunction, and it should have been replaced, not the printer itself or 4. I should have never bought an HP printer in the first place.

UPDATE to my problem. One of the cartridge contacts in the printer head is smushed in or out of alignment. Not sure if I can get in there with my long tweezers and pull it out. So it appears it was the printer head all along. I did previously pull out a loose plastic shaving from the manufacturing process when I was checking the print head.

I have no way or idea how to get a replacement printer head from HP however. Suggestions?
