Hi, we recently moved from the US to Germany and bought a set of HP ink cartridges for the printer (903 series in Europe, instead of the 902 series in the US). Now the printer rejects the European ink cartridges with an error message such as 'these cartridges are not intended for the use in this printer' or similar. After some digging I found that ink cartridges are region coded and the printer's region code needs to be reset from US to Europe. Could someone from HP support please direct me how to reset the region code to Europe/Germany please? Thank you.

I'd like to help!
We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

Again, thank you for the one more message. I appreciate that you are providing support, but is there any way to speed this up a bit? The guidance did not apply to my situation, is there perhaps a doc with full instructions how to call up the Regionalization Reset page on a Mac for an HP Office Jet Pro 6978 printer?
