HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One Printer - N911g

Hello,

 

I moved from Europe to Australia 6 months ago and I move with my HP 8600 (N911g) printer with me. I had to change the cartridges so I went to my local shop and bought HP 950/951 pack. When I put them in the printer it said that those cartridges are not intended for that printer. I have search over the forum and it said I need to contact HP to get the way to reset the region of the printer which is a free procedure. I have a set of ink cartridges that I just bought and cannot be used with my printer now...

Can you help me?

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you moved, and the printer is not accepting the new region cartridges.

 

NOTE: regional reset is attempted on a best-effort basis, it might not work on all printers. 

 

 

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

 

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
