I bought HP3721 Deskjet printer in HK and later moved to UK. I bought a genuine HP304 ink cartridge in UK and it showed incompatible. So I tried to find help from HP. I was told that there was no solution and the customer service asked me to buy a new printer in UK!!!!!! In despair, I then threw away my newly bought HP304 ink cartridge. And then I saw from the community forum that some people had already raised an issue in the year 2021 and the answer to them was that HP could help to reset the regional code of the printer!!!!!!!! If HP doesn't allow people to carry their HP printers to other places to use, it should WARN the customers. Total waste of money. I will never buy any HP products and will ask others not to do so.!

Hi @des_bear1,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I'd like to help!
I understand you moved, and the printer is not accepting the new region cartridges.
NOTE: regional reset is attempted on a best-effort basis, it might not work on all printers.
We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Yes" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping
