HP DESKJET 2722. HAVING PROBLEMS WHEN I TRY TO PRINT A RETURN LABEL TO MY PRINTER. IT WILL PRINT BUT WHEN I GO TO STORE TO BRING THE MERCHANDISE TO SEND BACK TO THE STORE THE CUSTOMER REP. STATES THEY CANT USED THAT RETURN LABEL BECAUSE IT WONT SCAN THE TRACKING NUMBER TO RETURN THE MERCHANDISE.

I understand you're experiencing issues with the return label not scanning properly when printed on your HP DeskJet 2722 All-in-One Printer. There could be a few reasons why this is happening:

 

  • Print Quality: The barcode on the return label may not be printed clearly or at a high enough resolution for the scanner to read it properly. Check the print quality settings on your printer and try printing the label again at a higher resolution if possible. - HP DeskJet 2600, 2700, 4100, 4800 printers - No black ink, wrong colors, other print quality issues
  • Barcode Format: Some scanners may have difficulty reading certain types of barcode formats. Ensure that the return label uses a standard barcode format that is compatible with most scanners.
  • Printer Calibration: It's possible that your printer may need to be calibrated to ensure accurate printing. Check the printer's user manual for instructions on how to calibrate it properly.
  • Printer Compatibility: Although rare, there could be compatibility issues between the printer and the format of the return label. Ensure that your printer is compatible with the file format of the return label.
  • Scanner Quality: If the return label is printing correctly but still not scanning, the issue might lie with the quality or calibration of the scanner at the store. You can try printing the label at a different location with a different scanner to see if the issue persists.
