Hi @kk69697,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I understand that you purchased an HP ink cartridge from Walmart and are experiencing issues with it. While HP does not process refunds for products purchased through retail partners, we can certainly assist you in checking the cartridge warranty and, if eligible, provide a replacement.
Here’s what you can do:
- Please share the cartridge serial/lot number (printed on the cartridge itself or the packaging).
- We will verify the warranty status of your cartridge.
- If the cartridge is under warranty and is confirmed defective, HP will arrange for a replacement.
Refunds, however, are handled only by the place of purchase, so we recommend you check with Walmart again for refund-related concerns.
Meanwhile, if you’d like, I can help you troubleshoot to confirm whether the cartridge is indeed defective before proceeding with a replacement.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day!
