Why does the printer lock up and not allow printing of rollover pages if I stop subscription for a while? The rollover pages are not used pages that are PAID FOR. I go spells without using the printer... Had 150 rollover pages after paying the subscription for months. I needed to cancel for a while and guess what... The printer locked up and would not print without a subscription. Uuuuuhh that would be for future pages. Rollover is ink the customer paid for but DID NOT USE. Total ripoff. Fits the definition of stealing pretty well. HP taking back what I paid them for over the course of a year.

I am sorry you are upset.

It is not stealing, though I do understand that you believe this to be true.

The situation you describe is likely simply a consequence of how the Instant Ink Terms of Service contract is written and how the subscription plans work.

Benefits are extended during the time the subscription is active.

Benefits do not extend beyond the subscription.

=======================================================================

For others reading -

Information is fully available - you do NOT need a subscription to read the contract document.

For example,

 Instant Ink - Terms of Service - USA

At this writing, find information for Rollover pages is found in the following areas of the contract:

Section 6.d Choosing a Service Plan > Rollover Pages

Section 7a.v Paying for your Service

Section 8.c Managing your Plan

Section 9.a Cancellation
