Hi,
I've had an urgent large print I've needed to do and the black ink cartridge has decided to only work half the time, no errors showing or anything.
I've managed to do about 40 % of what I needed done by eventually taking the black one out after wasting a tonne of paper and ink trying all of the troubleshooting.
My frustration is i'm obviously out of pocket for this high quality paper (HP brand too, so nothing wrong there!) but what's most frustrating is all of these pages have added on to my count against the instant ink, and I've still got loads to do (Although now out of coloured ink and black just isnt coming back to life!). Can I get these 'refunded' back on to my count as they didnt actually give me a usable document? I'm seriously tempted to move to another brand after all of this, I was due to upgrade the printer this month anyway but so many things about trying to print this one job has put me right off!
I'm sat here with over 50 dud pages because it started out intermittently missing lines and just not printing black in random pages in the documents which werent obvious until trying to read. Then there's all the test pages I've had to do to follow all of the troubleshooting. What can I do?
Overall I'm down a good chunk of my premium paper, it's taken twice as long to print on one cartridge, spent hours on it because of the instant ink system, have spent insane amount of time trying and failing to get through to anyone and now I will have to go out and get another set of cartidges to finish this run before any instant ink ones are sent.
Thanks,
Becca
