I have a secondhand HP ENVY 6155e. It was given to me without the original SETUP cartridges and the printer is stuck on ‘Use SETUP Cartridges.’ I have new genuine HP 68 cartridges installed. I need help completing initialization/OOBE reset without the original SETUP cartridges.

Let me  assist you with the steps to override the use setup cartridge error.

 

These steps are specific to the printer and I am afraid trying on a different printer might brick it.
