I suddenly noticed that all my printouts became a little overscaled and offset by the constant value (around 3 mm horizontally and 2 mm vertically in portrait mode). I tried everything: printing form other computers, reinstalling all the drivers, connecting printer via network and USB, hard resetting it, using HP Drivers as well as Bonjour software. It happens no matter what OS i use. The issue appears when printing from my MacBook, as well from Windows PC.
But printer is able to print its internal things (like printhead alignment pattern) absolutely perfectly. I found the pattern from when the printer was printing without these issues, and the patterns are identical.
This is especially noticeable when printing in borderless mode. The images/text/any other content is being printed off the page.

I'm so tired of that bs. I just printed two calibrating pages and calculated the scale. Now I'll create a preset with it. The printing scale to compensate that oversize is something about 95,2380952381% (very nice, thanks, HP).***bleep***

The printer will automatically scale the print up a bit when printing in borderless mode to avoid white borders on one or more sides due to paper misalignment.
Years ago there were options in the "Advanced" tab of the driver to adjust the amount of overspray, unfortunately this has been removed in recent years.
