HP2710e

I have bought a second-hand DeskJet 2710e which I want to enrol for Instant Ink. Unfortunately I am unable to do so as it is still apparently registered to another account. Is there any way I can override this?

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

 

If the HP DeskJet 2710e is still registered to another account, you’ll need to follow these steps to resolve the issue.

 

Contact the Previous Owner: If possible, ask the previous owner to remove the printer from their HP Instant Ink account. They can do this by logging into their HP Instant Ink account and removing the printer from the list of enrolled devices.

Reset the Printer: Sometimes performing a factory reset on the printer can help. To do this, follow these steps:

  • Turn on the printer.
  • Press and hold the Cancel button (red X) and the Resume button (the triangle in a circle) together for about 10-15 seconds.
  • Release the buttons, and the printer should reset to its factory settings.

Set Up the Printer: After resetting, set up the printer again and try to enroll it in HP Instant Ink.
