My printer  has sereved me well, but now that I am retired I have no further use for such a comprehensive device, in fact do I even need a printer?

So, my question is that having been on the Instant Ink program and having a full set of new cartidges that are useless unless the person buying the printer joins the Instant Ink program, I am most likely going to have to go to an  office supply store, buy off the shelf cartridges, and dispose of perfectly good new cartridges.  Hp will not take them back unless it is for recycling.

Has anyone any thoughts of a more elegant solution.

Thank you

Good question! Well, you are right about the cartridges will be sent to recycling. However, if you have unused cartridges and want to know how to return them, you may contact phone support for more information.
