Product: Hp deskjet plus series 4100

Im getting an error after changing out my ink cartridges.  Ive already installed it, used it, and now when I went to change my empty ink, I am getting a prompt to install setup cartridges. I've already thrown them. Please help.

As I understand, you're getting an error message while using set up cartridges in your printer. 

 

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

 

Have you tried regular ink cartridges? 

 

Step 1: Make sure the ink cartridges are compatible

Step 2: Make sure the ink cartridges are correctly installed

Step 3: Clean the electrical contacts

Step 4: Reset the printer

Step 5: Clean the ink cartridge contacts again
