When does HP ship Instant Ink to a newly enrolled 

customer with the "factory" toner cartridge? The original is only good for a few test pages!

Once you enroll in Instant Ink, you will get a welcome kit with the Instant Ink cartridges in 7-10 business days.

Yes, setup ink cartridges contain less ink than regular ink cartridges.

 

Your Instant Ink account page will have notifications if there are any issues with the account or recent cartridge shipment, it will even provide solutions on how to fix the issue. You may log in to your HP Instant Ink account page from here.
