When printing 2 or more pages, it skips a page or prints half of the page.  It does not matter if its a word doc, google doc or PDF.  Has been happening for months.  Any solutions?

@Silipo, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're experiencing issues with your HP DeskJet 2855e skipping pages or printing only half a page when printing multiple documents. Let's go through a few steps to troubleshoot and resolve this issue.

Check for Driver and Firmware Updates

Outdated drivers or firmware can cause printing issues.

  • Go to Official HP® Support
  • Enter your printer model: HP DeskJet 2855e.
  • Download and install the latest printer driver and firmware for Windows 11.

Check Print Spooler Settings

Sometimes the print spooler service can cause issues with print jobs.

  • Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  • Scroll to Print Spooler, right-click it, and select Restart.
  • Also, ensure the Startup Type is set to Automatic.

Try Printing from HP Smart App

This helps rule out software conflicts.

  • Download or open the HP Smart app.
  • Try printing the same document from there and see if the issue persists.

Check for Paper Feed Issues

  • Make sure the paper is loaded correctly and not sticking together.
  • Fan the stack of paper before loading it.
  • Clean the paper feed rollers using this guide: Clean the paper feed rollers.

Reset the Printer

A simple reset can sometimes fix persistent issues.

  • With the printer on, unplug the power cord from the back.
  • Wait 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn the printer on.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
