HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2545 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Tasks done:

- removal and reinstalling drivers, updated firmware as described on website HP

- installed new cartridges after the problem persisted with previous (older) cartridges. Aligned,... etc.

Notes:

- software complains about black cartridge not OK, but printer itself has no error at all

- for this, internally removed some dust, ink spats, but otherwise fairly clean (total printed ca 1600 pages), checked for lose connectors, broken ribbon cable,.. Checked for the contact-points at the cartridge holders, checked for any breaks in ribbon cable between main PCB and cartridge holders. Seems all to be OK. But still complaining about black cartridge

- if anything printed (ie. during copying): NO missing "INK-lines" because of clogged nozzle etc, ...

- scanning and printing (copying) of document works flawless: no skipping of TEXT-lines, as far as they fit the height of the printer head. Pictures are normal scanned/printed.

- printing from notebook: skipping TEXT-lines. Suppose TEXT-lines numbered 1- 40, lines 2, 3 ,6, 7, 10, 11, 14, 15 .... printed, but empty space where the skipped lines would normally have been (ie lines 1, 4, 5, 8, 9, 12, 13, 16...).

Anyone out there has a solution for this?

Thanks in advance.

Regards
