Why my printer Smart Tank 615 are not printing the color Cyan?

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Smart Tank 615 printer is not printing cyan color, the most likely causes are: low or empty cyan ink cartridge, clogged printhead, incorrect printer settings, 

Please try the steps shared below to try and resolve the issue.

Check ink levels:

  • Open the HP Smart app and check the ink levels for the cyan cartridge. 
  • If the cyan ink is low, replace the cartridge. 

 

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Page:

  • Access the printer's settings through the HP Smart app. 
  • Navigate to "Tools" or "Maintenance" and select "Print Quality Diagnostic Page". 
  • Analyze the test pattern to identify if the cyan color is missing or faded. 

 

Clean the printhead:

  • Through the HP Smart app, access the "Clean Printhead" function. 
  • The printer will run a cleaning cycle to attempt to unclog the printhead. 

 

Check printer settings:

  • Ensure your printer settings are set to print in color and not black and white only.
