Hi @Vugar2,

Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Check Ink Levels

  • Ensure that the cyan (blue) ink cartridge is not empty or running low. If the ink is low, replace the cartridge with a new one.
  • Check the ink levels via the printer’s control panel or software (on your computer).

Clean the Print Head

  • Sometimes, clogged printheads can cause color misalignment. Try cleaning the print head:
    • From the printer’s control panel: Go to the maintenance section and choose "Clean Print Head" or similar.
    • From the printer software: Open the printer utility on your computer and look for an option to clean the print head.

Run the Printer's Color Calibration

  • Your printer might need a color calibration to fix any color inaccuracies. This can be done either through the printer’s control panel or through the software on your computer.
  • Look for options like "Color Calibration" or "Align Print Heads" in the printer's settings.

Check the Printer Settings

  • Ensure the printer settings are correct, especially the color mode.
    • Double-check that you're using the correct print profile if you're printing from a specific application.

Check for Software or Driver Issues

  • Update your printer drivers and software.
    • Visit the official HP website and download the latest drivers for your printer model.
  • If there’s a software conflict, uninstall and reinstall the printer driver.

Perform a Test Print

  • Print a color test page to see if the issue persists.
  • This will help you check if the cyan ink is being printed at all, and whether it’s a problem with the printer or your files.

Check the Color Cartridge Position

  • Open the printer and check if the cyan cartridge is seated properly. Remove and reinsert it, making sure it is securely in place.

Use Genuine Ink Cartridges

  • If you are using third-party ink cartridges, they might not be fully compatible with your printer. Consider switching to genuine HP ink cartridges.

Check Your Document’s Color Settings

  • Ensure the document you're printing doesn't have color settings that could interfere with the printer’s ability to print blue.
    • If printing from an image, try opening it in another program (e.g., Microsoft Paint or Photoshop) and check if the issue persists.

Check for Firmware Updates

  • Sometimes, printers need firmware updates to resolve issues. Check HP Support website for any firmware updates and follow the instructions to install them.

Factory Reset (Last Resort)

  • If none of the above step's work, you may try doing a factory reset on the printer. This will restore the printer to its default settings.
    • Check your printer's manual or online guide for how to perform a reset.
