@Jon30001, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your Smart Tank 7300!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand that your HP Smart Tank 7300 was initially not printing blue, and after running a printhead cleaning cycle, it has stopped printing entirely. Let’s work together to resolve this.

1. Check Ink Levels and Ventilation

  • Ensure all ink tanks have sufficient ink and are properly seated.
  • Check if the ink tank vents are clear and not clogged.

2. Perform a Manual Printhead Cleaning

If the automatic cleaning didn’t help, a manual cleaning might be necessary:

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  2. Remove the printheads and gently wipe the nozzles with a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water.
  3. Let them dry for a few minutes before reinstalling.

3. Run a Printhead Alignment

  • Go to the printer’s Control Panel > Settings > Printer Maintenance and run a Printhead Alignment to ensure proper ink flow.

4. Try a Hard Reset

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from power for 60 seconds.
  2. Plug it back in and turn it on.
  3. Attempt to print a test page.

5. Check for Firmware Updates

  • Ensure your printer has the latest firmware by visiting the HP Support website and downloading any available updates.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
