HP Smart Tank Plus 559 Wireless All-in-One
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Smart tank Plus 559 doesn't print blue and yellow. The print head is cleaned several times. Now I have got a new print head, but there is no way to get access to the printheads. According to different information, they only come out if there is a fault, and there isn't anything registered in the printer. How can I access the print heads?

Hi Rainbow23,

Thank you for the reply. Yes, I know this document and followed it carefully until the printerhead wasn't moving out from it's hidden position. There are no faults indicated, so according to the document it will not move to accessible position. The printer works obviously as intended, but this means that you can't change the printerhead :-(.

What I did to resolve the situation was the following: Switch on the printer and wait till you hear the printerhead moving. Unplug the powersupply. Open the lid and see if you are lucky that the printerhead is accessible, if else, just retry. Move the printerhead manually to the marked mid position. Now you can change the printerheads.

After reconnection, the printer works perfect again :-). I hope somebody else can use this 😉
