All the prints have a smudge. It is approx 1" in from the right edge and runs the length of the page. I have replaced all the cartridges and it is still there.

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that the inks are smudge while printing, I am glad to assist you.

Print a cleaning page

The printing mechanism and printing path inside the printer might need to be cleaned to resolve issues like repeating dots, fuzzy print, or smeared toner.

  1. From the Home screen on the printer control panel, swipe left, and then touch Setup.

  2. Touch Service, and then touch Cleaning Page.

  3. Load plain, white paper when you are prompted.

  4. Touch OK to begin the cleaning process.

  5. Try to print again to see if the issue is resolved,

Turn off EconoMode in the print settings for computers with macOS

  1. In the software application you are trying to print from, click File, and then click Print.

    The Print window opens.

  2. Click the unnamed menu at the center of the window, and then select Paper/Quality in the drop-down menu.

  3. In the Media Type section, clear the EconoMode check box.
