Our printer makes a very loud squeaking noise whenever it is printing or initializing. I believe that the noise is coming from the front of the printer in the cartridge drawer. I have already tried taking out each toner cartridge and shaking it and then replacing it, this did not fix the squeaking.

Try to install toner cartridges one by one. Remove all 4 toners, turn the printer ON, wait for the printer to initialize and if there is no squeaking sound install 1 toner, close the door wait to initialize, if there is no squeaking sound continue to 2nd toner. When the squeaking sound starts the last toner you installed is causing that squeak. Replace the squeaking toner cartridge.

I did this and it turns out that the black toner cartridge is the one squeaking, but it is brand new as I just replaced it a week or so ago. Do I really need to buy a whole new black toner cartridge to fix the squeaking or is there another solution?
