Hi there. I needed to do urgent printing, and my instant ink cartridges ran out of ink. I bought replacement HP original in cartridges at Staples, but the printer will not print. Please advise on how to get the printer working. It appears that instant thing has sent me a replacement black cartridge, but it will not arrive for days and I need to do the printing now. I do not understand how it is possible that I cannot pay for premium store-bought HP cartridges and I’m locked out of my printer.
Thank you.

@scott543211, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Please install the Original HP cartridges you've bought and hard reset the printer and try printing.
1) Take out the cartridges.
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Wait for 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector.
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.
Please note, it has to be genuine HP cartridges. Which cartridges work with my HP printer? | HP® Support

I hope this helps.
