HP Recommended

One may not need to unscrew anything - It's possible to remove the toner waste reservoir cover and clean it and that worked for me - no more streaks and a great feeling of DIY!

However, see my notes in the comments for best results (wear gloves, minimal light exposure, skip the cotton swab, and you don't need alcohol, just use cotton makeup remover pads and cotton maybe swabs for the tight spots).
