Ink Supply System Problem

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

 

Try these steps:

Check Ink Cartridges

  • Open the ink cartridge access door.
  • Ensure each ink cartridge is securely in place and the latch is not open.
  • Make sure you are using genuine HP ink cartridges. Non-genuine cartridges can cause supply system problems.
  • Inspect the cartridges for any signs of damage. If damaged, replace with new HP cartridges.
  • Remove the cartridges and gently clean the gold-colored contacts using a lint-free cloth.

Perform Ink System Cleaning

  • On the printer's control panel, go to Settings.
  • Select Tools or Printer Maintenance.
  • Choose the Clean Printhead option and follow the on-screen instructions.

Reset the Printer

  • Press the power button to turn off the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer and from the wall outlet.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Turn the printer back on.

Update Printer Firmware
