I've replaced all the ink cartridges with genuine HP cartridges but keep receiving an error message that says there is a problem with the supply system for the magenta cartridge. I have followed all the troubleshoot steps but the error message does not clear. When I run a diagnostic, it says no issues found. What else can I do?

@mbb1212, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Supply System Error on Magenta Cartridge!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If you are experiencing persistent supply system error messages for the magenta cartridge even after replacing all cartridges with genuine HP cartridges and following troubleshooting steps, you can try the following actions:
Verify Cartridge Installation: Ensure that the magenta cartridge is properly installed. Remove it and reinsert it securely into the printer. Sometimes an incorrect installation can cause supply errors.
Check for Firmware Updates: Ensure that your printer’s firmware is up to date. Having the latest firmware can resolve errors related to supplies and compatibility. You can update the firmware through HP’s support website or the embedded web server on your printer.
Inspect Cartridge Contacts: Check the electrical contacts on the magenta cartridge and inside the cartridge slot in the printer. Clean any dust or residue using a lint-free cloth and ensure the contacts are not damaged.
Restart the Printer: Sometimes a simple restart can help to clear error messages. Turn your printer off, wait for 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
Perform a Hard Reset: Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet. Wait for about 60 seconds and then plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and to the printer. Turn the printer back on.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
