I, too, am having a massive issue since my printer updated itself over this past weekend. Suddenly, there's a Supply Problem, where it had worked perfectly fine before the update. I've installed new toner cartridges, and still nothing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled drivers and programs, restarted and unplugged everything I could possibly think of, but nothing has brought it back to working. Please help!

I just received the same update as well today and my printer is also locked up completely. I'm looking for a way to go back to the lst update but I'm not seeing a way to do that.

Does anyone know if there is a phone number for support that we can call to get guidance?

Hi @Saad72,

I'd like to help!

We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
  • In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Im having the same problem. Printer printed my reports this morning then after that has warning of supply problem. I knew my black cartridge was getting low so i replaced it with a LINKYO brand, which is the same one that was in there before and it is still giving me error message of Supply problem. Have tried resetting printer, unplugged it. Restarted computer tried going through setting and nothing has helped. Had the update done and ever since then things have not worked correctly.

I have gotten the same issue pop up on my printer. I've tried everything I can and nothing helps.

I have the same issue as Saad72...how do you do the factory reset?

Is there a way to downgrade the firmware to previous version?
