I am having the same issue here, did the update and now having the supply issue. Can you please help me with the factory reset for my printer, or to do a downgrade of the firmware. Thank you I have the Laser Jet Pro M254dw

According to the HP smart app, factory reset is = to the reset defaults buried in the settings menu.  That did not work for me

HI I HAVE A M254DW WITH THE SAME DREADED SUPPLY PROBLEM ERROR MESSAGE SINCE THE PRINTER CARRIED OUT AN UPDATE , CAN YOU PLEASE ADVISE FURTHER

Best bet is to find the old firmware online download and run it.  HP has removed the older firmware from their site.  Look on readit site.
