My printer is not printing in color! All I print is school stuff for my kids from the Florida Virtual School's website. Please help! I have 4 different HP laptops 2 new, 1 is like 6 yrs old, and another is like 13 yrs old and I cannot print in color from any of them. I also can't see anything where I can pick if I want black and white or color in the settings. It is only on the preview which says color but doesn't.

To better assist you -
1) Does the copy print out the same way?
2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or devices?
While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -
Use HP Smart to print a Print Quality Diagnostic report.

Open HP Smart, and then select HP Tango or Tango X, if it is not already selected.

Click Printer Settings.
-
Under Utility, click Printer Reports or Reports.

Click Print Quality Report.
Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further.
You may also refer to this document with steps to fix " Print Quality Issues" issue applicable for your printer - Print Quality Issues
Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

HI there - I'm having the same problem. I just installed the printer today and the print diagnostics printed fine. I tried Illustrator and acrobat. I don't seem to have options in Illustrator but in Acrobat the preview say color, the black and white option is not checked. Still printing black and white. Thanks!

May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
What device are you using the printer with, a Windows computer, Mac?
