Welcome to the HP English Community --
Most often, if something happens to you, it has happened to someone else.
There are just so many printer related issues.
The Instant ink itself is not likely the issue -- the ink is not special, strange, incapable of drying.
The source is perhaps related to the paper -- For example, Unsupported paper, the paper print surface, the amount of ink dumped on the print - perhaps in combination with the print surface). Try different paper.
The printer mechanics might be at fault - broken, out of adjustment, "something".
Use plain paper and run the print quality diagnostics for your printer.
