@Radar1-_, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.
I understand you're experiencing an issue where your HP printer won’t turn on and you're seeing a message about a problem with the printer or ink system. Let’s work together to get this resolved.
Perform a Power Reset
This helps clear any internal errors:
- Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
- Wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet (avoid power strips).
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer and try turning it on.
Check the Power Source
- Ensure the wall outlet is working by plugging in another device.
- If your printer has an external power module (power brick), check for any LED light on it. If there's no light, the power supply might be faulty.
Remove and Reinstall Ink Cartridges (if accessible)
If the printer powers on briefly or shows an ink system error:
- Open the ink cartridge access door.
- Remove all cartridges.
- Check for any ink leakage or damage.
- Reinstall the cartridges and close the door.
Try a Different Power Cable
If available, try using a compatible power cable from another HP printer to rule out cable issues.
I hope the information shared has been useful and resolves your concern.
Wishing you a smooth and hassle-free experience ahead!
