HP Recommended

Hello,

I recently purchased an HP laptop and am now looking for a printer for home use. I need to print around 1,500 color pages by the end of this week. However, after this month, my usage will significantly reduce to an average of 100–200 pages per month.

Could you recommend a reliable and affordable printer that delivers good-quality prints and suits my requirements? I’d like to make the purchase by the day after tomorrow, so a response by tomorrow would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Al Mashud

@Mashud, Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the HP printer.

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution. We hope our assistance has been helpful!

For your printing needs, especially the large volume of 1,500 color pages in a short period and lighter usage thereafter, it's important to choose a printer that balances initial performance and long-term economy. Based on your requirements, here are some recommendations from HP's range of printers:

HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e

  • Features:

    • All-in-one capabilities: print, copy, scan, and fax.
    • Fast print speeds suitable for handling high-volume tasks.
    • High print quality for color documents and photos.
    • Supports automatic two-sided printing, which can save time and paper.
    • Mobile printing capabilities to print directly from your laptop or smartphone.
  • Considerations:

    • It's an inkjet printer, known for high-quality color printing which is ideal for your initial high-volume need.
    • Affordable and suitable for both high-volume tasks and ongoing monthly printing requirements.

HP LaserJet Pro M479fdw

  • Features:

    • Laser technology offers sharp text and professional graphics.
    • Lower cost per page over time compared to inkjet, especially useful when your usage decreases.
    • High-speed printing with robust multi-functionality.
    • Supports wireless printing and easy setup with HP Smart app.
  • Considerations:

    • Initial cost might be higher, but it's economical for moderate to heavy use thereafter.
    • Less frequent need for toner replacement compared to ink cartridges.

HP Envy Photo 7855

  • Features:

    • Designed to deliver premium-quality photos.
    • Offers wireless printing and Bluetooth connectivity.
    • Convenient for home-based tasks with multi-functionality – print, scan, copy, and fax.
    • Affordable pricing, making it a good choice for home use when print volumes are lower.
  • Considerations:

    • Lower speed compared to other business printers, but sufficient for regular home use.

Additional Tip:

  • Consider enrolling in HP Instant Ink. It's a subscription service that automatically delivers ink or toner to your door, potentially reducing costs and maintaining continuous print capability.

Each of these options offers strong performance and value, with a variety of features tailored to different types of users. Be sure to compare the cost of consumables and any additional benefits like the HP Instant Ink service for ongoing convenience and potential savings.

I hope this helps!

Take care and have an amazing day!
