Has anyone else run into this problem? I purchased an original HP 304A toner in October. I installed it in my CP2025 printer on December 3. Shortly thereafter I noticed a blue smattering on some, but not all of my print jobs. The blue spots always occur in a small area near the top of the page. Over the next few weeks the smattering became more frequent so I finally removed the cartridge and looked down inside the tray and saw that some blue toner was leaking out. After cleaning it up I printed for a few more days before the blue spotting returned and found that it was continuing to leak. Since the status page indicated that 95% of the toner was still remaining I contacted HP since toners are supposed to have a lifetime warranty. The support technician had me email a picture of the toner on all sides, the tray with the spilled toner, a sample of the spotting, and my sales receipt. After speaking with his supervisor he informed me that since my printer was of the age that it was out of support, HP did not honor the lifetime warranty on their toners. They created a case number and told me to contact my supplier with that case number. The supplier's response was that because I had the toner more than 30 days they would not warranty it. Seems a little odd that because it's an older printer HP will not honor their warranty on toners.   IMG_1952.JPG
