Product: HP P1006
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have an HP P1006 laser printer. I have always been able to buy cartridges (HP and generic brands) which slide right in and the cartridge door/lid closes just fine. I just bought a Toner 35A which says it is compatible with P1006 printers, but now the lid/door doesn't close. It seems like something blocking it from closing it, but the toner is slid completely into place. Any thoughts about what is going on?

Is this an OEM or 3rd party. I have seen cases where 3rd party have used the wrong toner bin on a cartridge resulting in the door not closing. Compare the cartridge closely to your previous cartridge to see if they are identical.
