Product: Samsung SCX-3405FW Laser Multifunction Printer
Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

A new, official Samsung MLT-D101S/XAA toner cartridge is rejected by the printer even though it's identical to the old, working cartridge. The error message displayed on the printer is "Not Compatible Toner Cartridge".

 

I have cleaned the electrical contacts in the printer. I have turned off the printer and unplugged it for a few minutes.

 

What do I need to do to get this cartridge accepted by the printer?
