Product: HP Neverstop Laser MFP 1202w

I purchased a toner refill cartridge  HP143a .  The directions say to insert, turn 180 degrees, plunge toner from cartridge to printer and then do opposite to remove.  I can't get the cartridge to turn 180 degrees.  Has anyone had this problem or have a suggestion for what I am not doing right?
