Trying to bypass 8610 printer

Help community I'm trying  to bypass my printer to just print black, I changed all settings to black but it won't print because  I don't have the other 3 colors  but I just want black.

Welcome to the HP Community --

This printer requires all cartridges have ink -- all cartridges must be functional.

You can print "black and white" but the other cartridges must be present and have ink.

Why?

The printer uses a bit of other colors to maintain the print system.
