Hello everyone! I am annoyed that recently my printer has been doing the auto alignment and using up my ink every time I turn on the printer. I get that it wants to keep my printing align, but I want full control of that. Can anyone assist? I have been looking everywhere and have no luck so far. I did try disabling it on HP Smart but there is no option on both Mac or iPhone.

Hi @grampakoba
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
This occurs when the alignment process is incomplete; hence, the printer tries to align the printer every time you turn it on.
Please try the below suggestions and let me know if this helps.
Reset the printer
Print an alignment page with the HP Smart App
Check your ink cartridges
Print a Print Quality Report (HP Smart app)
Clean the printhead (HP Smart app)
