The print quality has been drastically deteriorating with this printer. I am using the correct ink. I'm trying to follow the directions to align the cartridges on my Mac, but the "utility" option does not exist on my Mac.
HP's instructions state to go to Apple --> System Preferences --> Print & Scan/Printers & Scanners --> Options & Supplies --> Utility --> Open Printer Utility --> Align
My Options & Supplies page has nothing on it that says "Utility." How else can I align the cartridges?

Hi @stashlab,
I'd like to help!
To assist better-
1) Does the copy print out the same way?
2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or devices?
While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page
-
Load plain white paper in the tray.
-
Print the report.
-
Printers without a touchscreen or menus: Go to 123.hp.com or your app store to install the HP Smart app. Click the picture of your printer on the home screen to open printer management options that include the report.
-
Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further.
You may also refer to this document with steps to fix the " Print Quality Issues" issue applicable for your printer - Print Quality Issues
Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
