I’m printing on sticker paper 5x4 items but when I print the page doesn’t print correctly. The set up is 5x4 so it’s 4 logo on the each page but the top 2 get printed from middle of design and the bottom two get full design printed

Hi @Dave315dav

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I understand the issue you're experiencing issue printing sticker paper in 5*4. It seems that the print alignment is incorrect, causing the top two labels to print from the middle of the design while the bottom two print correctly. I would request you to please follow the steps:

Verify the Document Settings

  • Open the file you are printing.
  • Confirm that the page size is set to 5 × 4 inches.
  • Ensure the layout contains all four logos positioned correctly on the page.

Check the Print Settings

  • Click File > Print.
  • Select your HP printer.
  • Click Printer Properties or Printing Preferences.
  • Under the Paper/Quality or Paper Size tab:
  • Set Paper Size to 5 × 4 inches (or create a custom size if necessary).
  • Select the appropriate Paper Type (Labels or Sticker Paper, if available).
  • Under the Layout or Effects tab:
  • Set Scale to 100% or Actual Size.
  • Disable Fit to Page, Shrink Oversized Pages, or any automatic scaling options.
  • Click Apply, then OK.

Print a Test Page

  • Print the document on plain paper first.
  • Place the printed sheet behind the sticker paper and hold them against a light source to verify that the print aligns correctly with the labels.

Align the Printhead

If the alignment is still incorrect:

  • Open the HP App.
  • Select your printer.
  • Go to Printer Settings or Advanced Settings.
  • Open Tools or Printer Maintenance.
  • Select Align Printhead and follow the on-screen instructions.
  • Once the alignment is complete, print the document again.

Try a Different Application

  • If you're printing from a browser or another application, save the file as a PDF.
  • Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader and print using Actual Size (100%).

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
