HP OfficeJet 5255 All-in-One Printer

I got new cartridges from HP which I installed today. I immediately got a message that I used ink cartridges from an outside source.  Why would that be and does it impact me in any way?

They work just fine.

To be able to answer you effectively, we need some information.

 

If that message not stopping you from using the ink cartridge, please ignore it and continue to print. 

 

If you are facing any issues with printing or getting any errors, keep us posted.
