I have an HP OfficeJet 3830 which uses 123 cartridges. There are currently no XL cartridges where I live.
I see that in other regions the 63 cartridge is supported - not in mine - though they are sold in the stores.
Why is there a geographical limitation on the HP cartridges?
Can I use the 63XL Black instead of the 123XL in my printer?

I still don't understand.
I can purchase both 63 cartridges and 123 cartridges in Israel.
They seem to be the same physical cartridges with different branding.
Is it permissible and will not cause any issue if I insert 63 cartridges in my HP OfficeJet 3830 printer?
(Sometimes 123 cartridges are out of stock and I'd rather use official HP products then no-brand solutions.)
Sincerely.
Eddy

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Keep me posted.
