Using US Cartridge in UK Printer

HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Two years ago I purchased an HP Envy 5020 printer while living in the UK. I've since moved back to the US and brought the printer back with me. I recently had to buy ink cartridges and couldn't find the number cartridge (304) that was available in the UK. I did a little research and determined that cartridge number 65 was the US equivalent. However when I replaced the cartridge I received an incompatibility error message. The new cartridge is a genuine HP cartridge, but I stilled received the error. Is there a work-around for this?

@Don_B7, Welcome to HP Support Community!

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
