Hi. I have a black band/stripe printing down the left hand side of the page every time, ive updated the drivers, followed steps for  callibrating and doing a print cleaning page, any other ideas please?

3 things that typically cause this issue in order you should check:

 

1. Bad toner cartridge. If you remove the cartridge and look at the blue/green drum on the bottom, if you see a corresponding black line on the cartridge you likely have a bad cartridge.

2. Failing transfer belt or secondary transfer roller. Open the back door and examine both the foam roller in the rear door and look at the grey/silver belt, you can also check the belt by opening the front door and removing a couple of cartridges at the back of the caddy so you can see the grey belt underneath.;

3. Fuser issue, hardest to check due to the design of the printer and usually you have to disassemble the printer to get a good look.
